#Hold onto the #rope of #faith and #let #go of the rope of #doubt and #uncertainty…

REFERENCE:

Let us hold fast the confession of hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. (Hebrews 10:23)

THOUGHTS:

What are we holding onto that produces little hope and promises? A tightrope and a loose mind have nothing in common. You either hope in everything or fail for anything. Where is our hope located? Have we adjusted to circumstances and situations that have no actual outcome or promise? There is only One who is faithful in this spiritual relationship. Today, I challenge you to hold onto the rope and not straddle it. For  God, above all things, will see us through in areas that we cannot.

What does your #appetite #desire on #today?…

REFERENCE:

Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commandments! (Psalms 112:1)

THOUGHTS:

Does the delight and fear of this world compare to that of God? Are we commanded by and fearful of the powers of this present time we are in? Have we substituted our spiritual appetite for the temporary possessions of this world and those who rule in it?  Have we decided to turn the plate of this world upside down? Today, I challenge you to reject man and his opposition to God. For when we do this and fear God, we obtain blessings and umerited favor.

#Build your #hope in #Christ and do not let the #world build #you…

REFERENCE:

As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on a God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. ( 1 Timothy 6:17)

THOUGHTS:

When buying a home or saving money, we make an investment. These tools prove to be beneficial in the long run. However, they are essential to life but are still materialistic and have the possibility of disappointment and also disappearing over time. What are we building and investing in? Are there holes in our spiritual bags? Is there a spiritual malfunction in the tools and equipment that we are using.  Today, I challenge you to utilize the word of God to build and invest, so that we prosper in all things spiritually and eternally. Hope can only manifest with one step forward.

It #took #one #God and it only #takes one God…

REFERENCE:

Yet for us there is one God, the Father from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are things and through whom we exist. (1 Corinthians 8:6)

THOUGHTS:

If there was one answer to everything, why search for a second opinion or another option? It takes one response and one question. It takes one person to ask and one person to answer. Are we allowing or including other parties into our existence that have no real value? Biologically speaking, we were only given one father so why should we replace that which was already given? In the same regard, God our eternal Father is, was and will always be present. There is no substitute or replacement. Today, I challenge you to eliminate the option of  number two(2) in your life and look to the “One”. For with “one” God, there are many blessings.

Have we #forgotten #something or #someone in our #prayer #time?…

REFERENCE:

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and in supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.(Philippians 4:6)

THOUGHTS:

Prayer is not conditional unless we see our life in Christ as conditional. I cannot imagine a prayer life that’s based on conditional prayer. We have an intercessor that steps in on our behalf so that petitions are made and carried to completion. We are no longer enslaved to expectation in the natural realm. Today, I challenge you to put everything in prayer  before God and leave nothing excluded. The result is our benefits package and compensation of the things of the Kingdom.

Have #we #departed from our #resting #place in the #Lord to a place of #distraction?…

REFERENCE:

The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the the everlasting arms. And he thrust out the enemy before you and said, ‘Destroy.’             (Deut 33:27)

THOUGHTS:

In a position of rest and relaxation we are usually at peace. Any other place in opposition is irrelevant and provides uneasiness to us. When we remain in a position of being preoccupied, we get lost in translation. Constant work that does not profit anything leads to exhaustion and fatigue. It weighs down on us mentally, emotionally and definitely spiritually. In the same regard, we slowly stray away and neglect God in the process. For when we remove ourselves from our worldly duties and activities, God steps in and provides a room of rest. Today, I challenge you to rest in the hospitality of God’s spiritual hotel which he has already provided. There is absolutely no rest for the weary unless you are in Christ Jesus.

If we #discontinue #prayer, then what and whom are we #praying to?

REFERENCE:

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Jesus Christ for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

THOUGHTS:

If we stop praying, are we speaking or thinking about something else. In a relationship, if we stop speaking to our mate, it causes friction and creates distance between the two. Due to the lack of communication in that relationship, we tend to think of ways or all the possible outcomes that may come of it. We assume what the other may or may not expect us to do or say. In the same regard, when we cease our communication of prayer to the Father, we assume as well. Our expectation becomes cloudy with all situations that are taking precedence in our lives. Sometimes, we do pray but not on a consistent basis. When we do not get a response we become frustrated or impatient, which is very common. This does not constitute as prayer not being heard. It just means that our Father who art in heaven, is preparing the way for us. He is using the spiritual realm, which are the angels of the Lord, to clear the runway for us. Diligence, perseverance, consistency and determination will allow for our fervent prayer to be heard and our lives will prove to be transitional. Today, I challenge you to leave the prayer line of communication open and deny any distraction of call waiting or interception. Prayer is not option because it is a necessity.

#Enter the #way of the #righteous not #rightness…

REFERENCE:

Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. (Matthew 7:13-14)

THOUGHTS:

When entering a route that can be easily accessed or saves time, can we safely arrive at our destination? Is it the road less traveled or traveling less of a road ahead? Whatever path we travel, there is an entrance either way. The entrance may lead to life or a destructive and not so pleasant path. The opportunity may not present itself twice, so choose the way of righteousness. Today, I challenge you to continue passing through the gate that provides the abundance of life.

Are we taking #possession of what really #belongs to us on #earth as it is in #heaven?…

REFERENCE:

And they captured fortified cities and a rich land, and took possession of houses full of all good things, cisterns already hewn, vineyards, olive orchards and fruit trees in abundance. So they are and were filled and became fat and delighted themselves in your great goodness. (Nehemiah 9:25)

THOUGHTS:

We declare, decree and confess greatness over our lives for the goodness of God’s glory to be revealed. The blessings of our Lord makes it rich spiritually and naturally. However, it will only exist if we confess the true divine power of Christ, in and for us. Today, I challenge you to focus on the outcome not the circumstance. God has proven to be the greatest of all. “Rejoice I say”, in the Lord, “rejoice”!

#Our #plans are not necessarily plans of #escape and #hope…

REFERENCE:

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)

THOUGHTS:

When we plan our future, does it include greatness and comfort? The steps of the righteous are ordered by the Lord to give us a divine secure end. His words are Yes and Amen. Today, I challenge you to align yourselves with the word of God for an expected hopeful end.
