REFERENCE:

And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, “Inquire first for the word of the Lord.”             (1 Kings 22:5)

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you in seeking God first, even when we do not see the end. The promise is bigger than the circumstance. 

REFERENCE:

Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2)

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to keep running because the finish line is approaching. 

REFERENCE:

And you shall speak my words to them, whether they hear or refuse to hear, for they are a rebellious house. (Ezekiel 2:7)

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to refuse rebellion and accept the living word of God. 

REFERENCE:

Although he was a son, he learned obedience through what he suffered.             (Hebrews 5:8)

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to look at the suffering of Christ versus ours. If you do look, you will realize there is no comparison. He did it for us already. 

REFERENCE:

I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.        (Psalm 34:1)

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to praise and bless the Lord more than just 99% of the times. 

REFERENCE:

For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, (2 Peter 1:5)

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to make virtue as accessible as the spirit of God. The flesh is very convenient to us but virtue supersedes it. 

REFERENCE:

Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go. (Joshua 1:7)

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to be led by the wisdom of the Holy Spirit so that you succeed. Making a false or wrong turn can be detrimental to us. 

REFERENCE:

Light dawns in the darkness for the upright; he is gracious, merciful, and righteous. (Psalm 112:4)

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to stand in the presence of light to overshadow darkness.  

REFERENCE:

Be assured, an evil person will not go unpunished, but the offspring of the righteous will be delivered.              (Proverbs 11;21)

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to not practice or justify evil deeds and call it good. The righteous will always stand and the ungodly will fall. 

REFERENCE:

And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness. (Acts 4:31)

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to speak boldly by and with the power embedded in your spirit.
