THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you, to rely on the tender mercies of the Lord.

REFERENCE:

What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said,
“I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them,
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
Therefore go out from their midst,
and be separate from them, says the Lord,
and touch no unclean thing;
then I will welcome you,
and I will be a father to you,
and you shall be sons and daughters to me,
says the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 6:16-18

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to separate from idols that have not heavenly gain. The Lord is the lamp to our feet and light of our pathway. The decision to trust Him fully, relies on us.

REFERENCE:

But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace. 2 Peter 3:13-14

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to be diligent, steadfast and peaceful, while we wait upon the Lord. It will only benefit our soul.

REFERENCE:

Now this I say and testify in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds. They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart. They have become callous and have given themselves up to sensuality, greedy to practice every kind of impurity. Ephesians 4:17-19

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you, to determine if your lifestyle matches the requirements of the word of God.

REFERENCE:

‘And you shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land; you shall break down their altars.’ But you have not obeyed my voice. What is this you have done? Judges 2:2

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to cut off any covenant agreement with the calamity of this world. It will only result in disappointment.

For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. James 3:16-17

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to align your whole character with the attributes of the word. The Lord gives peace to a sincere and pure heart.

REFERENCE:

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Romans 3:23-24

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you, not to overlook the gift of grace. No one on earth can redeem us like our Father in heaven.

For whoever desires to love life

let him keep his tongue from evil
and his lips from speaking deceit. 1 Peter 3:10

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to erase and avoid any evil or malice from your lips. The Lord delights in prolonging our lives because of our holiness.

REFERENCE:

Cast your burden on the LORD,
and he will sustain you;
he will never permit
the righteous to be moved. Psalms 55:22

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to depend and rely on the Lord more to sustain us. For we can do nothing on our own, because He alone is our saving grace.

REFERENCE:

Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to be pray more and be alert when presented with many temptations. For the Lord is a keeper of the soul, if we want to be kept. He will provide a way of escape, if we allow Him to.
