So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! 1 Corinthians 10:12

Today, I challenge you to stand firm in the Lord, His word and your faith.

REFERENCE:

These are the things you are to do: Speak the truth to each other, and render true and sound judgment in your courts; do not plot evil against each other, and do not love to swear falsely. I hate all this,” declares the LORD. Zechariah 8:16

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to render good instead of evil and let truth be on your lips always.

LORD, you alone are my portion and my cup;
you make my lot secure. Psalms 16:5

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to the portion and cup of the Lord, because there is none greater. Any offer other than from the Lord will be empty.

Restore us to yourself, LORD, that we may return;

Today, I challenge you to let the power and hand of the Lord restore, renew, and rebuild you.

Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God. 2 Corinthians 7:1

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to not corrupt or defile the holiness that has been instilled in us by God.

REFERENCE:

When a man makes a vow to the LORD or takes an oath to obligate himself by a pledge, he must not break his word but must do everything he said. Numbers 30:2

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to fulfill your part of the bargain as it relates to the will of the Lord.

REFERENCE:

If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it. Genesis 4:7

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to use the word of the Lord against sin and take action accordingly. This way, it does not overtake or consume you fully. We have the power of Christ in us to overcome if we are willing and able to let faith work for us. 

REFERENCE:

The one whose walk is blameless is kept safe,
but the one whose ways are perverse will fall into the pit. Proverbs 28:18

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to focus on walking the steps of a person without blame to avoid any pitfalls.

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to honor the Lord in everything that you say and do.

REFERENCE:

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to discard the old you and the habits that it produces. After doing so, put on the new character in Christ that is being perfected in you.
