REFERENCE:

Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love,

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to position your heart to be satisfied in the Lord.

REFERENCE:

Should God then reward you on your terms,
when you refuse to repent?
You must decide, not I;
so tell me what you know. Job 34:33

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to choose salvation over sin. There is no benefit when it comes to damaging your soul.

REFERENCE:

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to change your spiritual taste buds to be fed daily by the word of the Lord.

REFERENCE:

Now, our God, we give you thanks,
and praise your glorious name. 1 Chronicles 29:13

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to serve the Lord and give thanks consistently. He is the only one who will bless us according to our needs and desires unconditionally. 

REFERENCE:

We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way;
and the LORD has laid on him
the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:6

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you not to lay the heavy burdens of your wrong on your heart. He died and made atonement for us already. However, at the same time, we should not take our redemption in Christ for granted. Let us live freely in Him without guilt or shame, knowing that we have a Savior forever present in and through us.

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to never entertain or permit any thought of harm to anyone for any reason. Vengeance is the Lord and not ours to contend with.

REFERENCE:

And he said to the human race,
“The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom,
and to shun evil is understanding.

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to fear and honor the Lord to gain wisdom. For it is better to gain with Him than to lose with the evil one.

REFERENCE:

Those who forsake instruction praise the wicked,
but those who heed it resist them. Proverbs 28:4

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to direct your praise to the Lord and reject the evil one.

REFERENCE:

Then I acknowledged my sin to you
and did not cover up my iniquity.
I said, “I will confess
my transgressions to the LORD.”
And you forgave
the guilt of my sin. Psalms 32:5

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to confess your sins to the Lord so that it becomes a habit. A clean conscience is better than an unclean one.

REFERENCE:

Do not be stiff-necked, as your ancestors were; submit to the LORD. Come to his sanctuary, which he has consecrated forever. Serve the LORD your God, so that his fierce anger will turn away from you. 2 Chronicles 30:8

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you and encourage you to submit all of yourself to the true and living God. He is waiting for those who have not.
