REFERENCE:

Glorify the LORD with me;
let us exalt his name together. Psalms 34:3

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to glorify His name and His name alone. We cannot serve two masters at the exact same time. 

REFERENCE:

There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan
that can succeed against the LORD. Proverbs 21:30

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to oppose the plans of evil and unrighteousness against the word of the Lord.

REFERENCE:

My feet have closely followed his steps;
I have kept to his way without turning aside. Job 23:11

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to align your footsteps to be anchored in the will of God.

REFERENCE:

I saw that wisdom is better than folly,
just as light is better than darkness. Ecclesiastes 2:13

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to choose to live in the light versus the darkness. Living in the light of salvation will save your soul from grief and turmoil. 

REFERENCE:

He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith? Mark 4:40

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to put your faith into action so it produces something that can be seen and heard. If not, what good is it to you if no work is involved?

REFERENCE:

For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. 1 Timothy 4:8

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to stand and walk in the place of godliness in all things.

REFERENCE:

Answer me when I call to you,
my righteous God.
Give me relief from my distress;
have mercy on me and hear my prayer. Psalms 4:1

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to make all your requests known to the Father. He is the only response we need, when times of trouble arise.

REFERENCE:

Turn my eyes away from worthless things;
preserve my life according to your word.

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to keep your mind and heart fixed on the word of the Lord. He is the only way to preserve our souls and keeps us from meaningless things.

REFERENCE:

I keep my eyes always on the LORD.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Psalms 16:8

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to set your eyes on the Lord and avoid anything that is worthless. He is for us and is always at our right hand, but only if we allow Him to. 

REFERENCE:

And may your hearts be fully committed to the LORD our God, to live by his decrees and obey his commands, as at this time. 1 Kings 8:61

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to fully commit your mind, body and soul unto the Lord.
