REFERENCE:

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Romans 5:3-5

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to press firmly towards the hope of God that dwells inside of you.

REFERENCE:

Fear the LORD your God, serve him only and take your oaths in his name. Do not follow other gods, the gods of the peoples around you. Deuteronomy 6:13-14

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to serve the Lord and avoid all other gods. There are no duplicates.

REFERENCE:

For the LORD your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your ancestors, which he confirmed to them by oath.

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to meditate on what it means to have a covenant relationship with the Lord.

REFERENCE:

But I gave them this command: Obey me, and I will be your God and you will be my people. Walk in obedience to all I command you, that it may go well with you. Jeremiah 7:23

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to walk the way the Lord commands us to. Any other way would be contrary to His word.

REFERENCE:

Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the LORD and shun evil.
This will bring health to your body
and nourishment to your bones. Proverbs 3:7-8

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to seek the goodness of the Lord and fear Him only.

REFERENCE:

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to choose the life that Christ gave us. Death is nonexistent and has no value.

REFERENCE:

Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Hebrews 10:22

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to draw near to God so that He remains close to you. By doing so, it keeps our minds renewed in Him every day. 

REFERENCE:

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to be filled with the hope that only God can deliver.

REFERENCE:

I put no trust in my bow,
my sword does not bring me victory;
but you give us victory over our enemies,
you put our adversaries to shame. Psalms 44:6

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to step aside and let the manifestation of His victory take over.

REFERENCE:

For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Matthew 6:14-15

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to forgive others in the same way your Father in heaven forgives. If not, what good or benefit does it justify not doing so?
