Leave the presence of a fool, for there you do not meet words of knowledge. Proverbs 14:7

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to give no time and effort to the presence of a fool. For there is no godly reward in it.

REFERENCE:

So also the tongue is a small member, yet it boasts of great things.
How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire! And the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life, and set on fire by hell. James 3:5,6

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to use your tongue to speak life and not destruction. By doing so, we are able to put out the uncontrollable fires that burn daily.

REFERENCE:

I will recount the steadfast love of the LORD,
the praises of the LORD,
according to all that the LORD has granted us,
and the great goodness to the house of Israel
that he has granted them according to his compassion,
according to the abundance of his steadfast love. Isaiah 63:7

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to measure the steadfast of the Lord versus the world.

REFERENCE:

I will bless the LORD at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalms 34:1

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to continually praise Him and not your circumstances. Test your tongue so that you will see the difference.

REFERENCE:

And if you will indeed obey my commandments that I command you today, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, he will give the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the later rain, that you may gather in your grain and your wine and your oil. Deuteronomy 11:13

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to choose simple obedience rather than complicated disobedience. For they both produce different outcomes. The Lord is ready, willing and able to bless us, according to our heart.

REFERENCE:

For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:5-8

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to maintain your godly character, for the sake of your soul. No reward in this world is greater than our final reward in Him.

REFERENCE:

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the people of old received their commendation. By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. Hebrews 11:1-3

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to confirm if you have the assured faith that is necessary to move mountains.

REFERENCE:

And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. Joshua 24:15

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to determine if it is worth serving an inactive god or active GOD?

REFERENCE:

In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:6,7

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you, to stand firm, walk and not faint because the reward is greater than your present. Your faith is your signal of hope.

REFERENCE:

You shall not make idols for yourselves or erect an image or pillar, and you shall not set up a figured stone in your land to bow down to it, for I am the LORD your God. Leviticus 26:1

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to refrain from the false image that fear has created in your life. The world has proven to be a place of uncertainty that leads to disappointment. We have the power and authority to refuse, reject and deny anything that does not line up with greatness.
