Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.(Psalms 46:10)

Today, I challenge you to relocate your life in Christ and make his presence your permanent residency.
REFERENCE:
The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.(Proverbs 18:10)
THOUGHTS:
The importance of safety and protection are necessary in our day to day lives. When at home, we want to feel protected. If we are violated in any way, it means we left the door open. The door however, is not physical but spiritual. We have not fully secured our minds, heart and soul from the war within us and around us. Somewhere along the line we become complacent. When this occurs, we allow the opportunity of influence and disobedience to take over. At this point we are now unsafe and exposed. Today, I challenge you to safely rest in the secure arms of the Lord and put a dead bolt on everything that opposes righteousness and holiness.
REFERENCE:
Whoever diligently seeks good seeks favor, but evil comes to him who searches for it.(Proverbs 11:27)
THOUGHTS:
Are you seeking good and not God? Every recipe of goodness contains the ingredients of God in it. For every deed that is sought after, it has a reaction and a consequence. Decide for yourself what path will be taken. There are no alternative methods or shortcuts to doing good.Today, I challenge you to consistently raise the volume in your walk and mute the sound of your voice. Actions speak louder when you do not speak at all. Let your life in Christ, be a reward to you according to your works.
REFERENCE:
So now, faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. (1 Cor 13:13)
THOUGHTS:
What is the greatest gift you ever received? I’m sure we can think of several. However, have we ever considered gifts that were not as tangible as the world presents them? When was the last time you gave the gift of love? Is love giving based on value or merit? Is it conditional? Christ loved us before we were formed in the womb. Today, I challenge you to love others when it seems to be the most impossible thing to do. It will change the atmosphere and start a chain reaction. After all, Christ loved us before we were born and even before we knew how to love.
REFERENCE:
And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:18)
THOUGHTS:
When we put on new garments for the day, we take off the old and discard it. Depending on the occasion, we usually dress according to the event or mood we’re in. We may decide not to change at all and reuse what we had on the day prior. In any event, we enter a different and new mindset when we change or alter our lifestyle. It may be according to the influences of the world or self motivation. Whatever we choose, the decision relies on us. However, the outcome may or may not be glorified or enjoyable. In any situation, we are not truly changed or transformed unless God is involved or allowed it. Today, I challenge you to teach, program and cultivate your mind to be transformed into the image of God. New things are in store for us. It’s coming!
REFERENCE:
You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God. (Leviticus 19:34)
THOUGHTS:
Have you ever traveled to a foreign or distant land? When arriving, did you adapt quickly or did it take some adjusting? I am sure we can recall some point in our lives, when we felt out of place or as if we did not belong. Even if we did not have that experience, we were all born into a world unknown. The world in which we live, has been in existence for a very long time. We have not always been apart of it. We came to know it after being accepted and adjusting to the system that was put in place by our forefathers. Have we forgotten what it’s like to be isolated due to unforeseen circumstances? In the same regard, God loves us and has accepted us as his own to those who believe in Him. He too was rejected and hated by many but had to endure for the sake of the world to set us free. Now that we are no longer slaves, we are also not in bondage. If we are free in Him, why isolate or hold someone else in captivity? Today especially, I challenge you to free yourself in God as well as others. For those who are in Him, are all foreigners passing through and waiting to enter eternal life. This is not our final destination.
REFERENCE:
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.( Isaiah 43:2)
THOUGHTS:
Have you ever been consumed by actual flood waters? If so, how did you escape? Was it too much to bear? Was there an action plan? Have you ever imagined what it would be like if you were completely taken out by a tremendous and tumultuous wave of water? In the same respect, life does that to us occasionally. Life has a way of using waters to rise and test our faith. Have you considered anyone that would come to your rescue had the waters overtaken you? Many times we do not have the opportunity or chance to do so because life can bring about such challenges that we lose focus. However, we have direct access while being in the presence of God. If we dial 911 for emergency, he will be on the other end waiting for your call to deliver us from the complexities of life’s storm. Today, I challenge you to discard the deflated raft in your life. For we have a Savior that does not require the use of any flotation devices because His grace is more than sufficient.
REFERENCE:
Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.(James 4:8)
THOUGHTS:
If you were close to anything other than God, then what is it? If we are distant from a thing, is God involved? What measures would you take to seek the goodness of His glory? Are we so far away that we cannot hear or see what he has for us? What relationships do you have that are of no value whatsoever? Do we know what it means to draw close? Today, I challenge you to change your relationship status to, “devoted child of God”. When we do so, everything in and around us makes a shift towards something greater.
