Are we using the #wrong  #device to #dial #Jesus?

Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. (Jeremiah 33:3)

When was the last time you called Him? If you dialed, did someone answer? What was your request? What was the answer? Was there a delay? How long have you been calling out to Jesus? When we call on Him, expect immediate results. They are soon to pass because of our faith. He will answer in a way that is unimaginable. Today, I challenge you to call Him and expect greater.

Have we taken #full #possession of our #victory?

REFERENCE:

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.(1 Cor 15:57)

THOUGHTS:

Are we in possession of what really belongs to us? Do we consider our possession to be of vain expectations? When do we eliminate and separate that, which belongs to us versus what God gives? Are we possessing things that are unfruitful to our mind, body and soul? Today, I challenge you to possess the victory of that, which is of everlasting significance obtained by Christ.

Have we #forgotten how to be #thankful in every #situation that #arises?…

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

The key word is “thankful”. Do you remember the last time someone gave you something and you were gratfeul? Let us be grateful even if it does not seem to benefit at present. Everything has a purpose and a season. Today, I challenge you not to have control of a thing but turn to the controller of everything, who is Christ.

When #good #news is here, are we #eager to tell it in the same way we do #gossip?…

REFERENCE:

The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.         (Luke 4:18)

THOUGHTS:

Claim liberty and freedom now, so that we are not held in permanent captivity. Good news pertains to those who want to be set apart and set free. In order to restore sight, one cannot remain in darkness. The goodness of the kingdom cannot be revealed when there is complete darkness. When the spirit of God is present, our eyes and ears are inclined to his presence. Today, I challenge you to spread and share the good news that you received. For by not sharing, we are as selfish as the night when it approcahes and overcomes each day that passes.

If we were #bought with a #price, why #return ourselves for #damaged #goods?

REFERENCE:

For you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.(1 Cor 6:20)

THOUGHTS:

If we are no longer used products and damaged goods, why sell ourselves? Do we need to be reminded that Jesus Christ already paid the price for our redemption? We are no longer enslaved by this world and society. The ransom has been paid and we are to honor our bodies as a precious jewel. Today, I challenge you to allow your body to be present and saturated in Christ and absent from worldly influences.

Now that you have your #gift from #Christ, do you #unwrap it or #store it #away?

REFERENCE:

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace. (1 Peter 4:10)

THOUGHTS:

When gifts are distributed, do we compare them or embrace them? Gifts are carefully selected for specific people with specific characters. They are chosen for the sake of divine use and purpose. There are no mistakes in gift giving. When one gives, one receives. In the same way, we ought to share with each other as Christ has been given to us. Today, I challenge all to make use of the divine gifting in you for the sake of Christ and others.

If #one is #physically #crippled and not #spiritually crippled, #do we still #walk after #Christ?…

REFERENCE:

Now this is say and testify in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as gentiles do, in the futility of their minds. (Ephesians 4:17)

MY THOUGHTS:

Now that we are new and improved, do we continue walking in the path of old? When considering our course of travel, do we imitate what we know or where we want to be Christ? If we had no legs, would we discontinue our faith walk? Today, I challenge you to change directions and walk after the footprints of Christ.
