Why should we #praise and #worship something or someone that does not respond?

REFERENCE:

They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen. Romans 1:25

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to give the Creator of all things the praise where it is due Him.

What good or benefit is it to allow #disobedience and #rebellion to have residence in your heart?

REFERENCE:

But if you will not listen to me and carry out all these commands, and if you reject my decrees and abhor my laws and fail to carry out all my commands and so violate my covenant, then I will do this to you: I will bring on you sudden terror, wasting diseases and fever that will destroy your sight and sap your strength. You will plant seed in vain, because your enemies will eat it. I will set my face against you so that you will be defeated by your enemies; those who hate you will rule over you, and you will flee even when no one is pursuing you. Leviticus 26:14-17

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to evict every thought and feeling that may provoke you to the act of disobedience.

Who has the better #victory and #triumph, you or the #Lord?

REFERENCE:

The LORD will march out like a champion,
like a warrior he will stir up his zeal;
with a shout he will raise the battle cry
and will triumph over his enemies. Isaiah 42:13

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to take a step back and let the Lord fight for you because the battle was never ours to begin with. The Lord has been and always will be in the winning circle for us.

Are you ready to fully walk in the way the #Lord intends for you and get rid of #idols?

REFERENCE:

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” Then you will desecrate your idols overlaid with silver and your images covered with gold; you will throw them away like a menstrual cloth and say to them, “Away with you! Isaiah 30:21-22

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to commit your way and your will to the Lord. By doing so, you will have the opportunity to discard and throw away anything that no longer has a divine purpose or value in your life.
