Today, I challenge you to believe and trust the word of the Lord. His word is a word that promises, not from a world that fails.

They were helped in fighting them, and God delivered the Hagrites and all their allies into their hands, because they cried out to him during the battle. He answered their prayers, because they trusted in him. 1 Chronicles 5:20

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to put your hands aside, sit, and trust fully in the Lord to fight for you. Who else do you know who can deliver us out of the hands of the enemy, like the Lord?

REFERENCE:

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:5-8

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to practice self-control so that you do not fall into the routine of ungodliness. For the Lord Jesus Christ takes delight in a cheerful heart and godly character.

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to allow Him (the Lord) to mend any broken pieces of your life back together.

Surely God is my salvation;

The LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my defense;
he has become my salvation. Isaiah 12:2

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to make the decision to lean on the salvation that the Lord freely offers. By doing so, you enter His rest and are redeemed from condemnation.

For in the day of trouble
he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent
and set me high upon a rock. Psalms 27:5

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to come out of any unsafe territory and walk into the arms of the Lord. He is our refuge and fortress.

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to choose the life of the Lord and not get lost in the love of life’s riches.

Today, I challenge you to give all your thanks to the Lord. He is the only one who responds to the rejoicing of our hearts.

wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed. Isaiah 50:4

THOUGHTS:

Today, I challenge you to carry out the instructions that the Lord is commanding you. His word is the instruction manual for life itself.

A horse is a vain hope for deliverance;
despite all its great strength it cannot save.
But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love. Psalms 33:17-18
