Repent, then and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord. (Acts 3:18)
It’s much more convenient and comfortable to continue in our own natural way of doing things. It’s even more challenging when the result does not turn out how we expect it to. It’s very easy to fall into temptation and the evils of this age. The determining factor relies solely on us and those around us. Repenting means to completely and totally subdue yourself to the ways of Chris. It’s the effort put forth into submitting all your natural ways to Christ. The reward is greater than the process and the end is better than the beginning. It’s as refreshing as water relieving you from thirst. The real refreshment solely comes from Christ. Once entered into a place of relief all else is progressive. The challenge here is us. Are we willing to admit our mistakes and wrongdoing? Are we willing to dictate what the wrong is? I encourage you to step away not step back. Consider the result always.
