#You cannot #eat the worries of the #world or #life itself…

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body what you will wear. Is not your life more than food and the body more than clothes? (Matt 6:25)

The concerns for our lives are very typical for us. We get wrapped up into the next decision, idea or situation that we are affected by. Deciding on non essential issues have no long term effect and it takes our focus away from the things that matter most. Can we accept the fact that there is more to life itself than the material aspect? It consumes us and sometimes it becomes our priority. Shall we consider, focus and concentrate on the present or invest in tomorrow which has not arrived? There is no absolute guarantee of tomorrow let alone the next second. The challenge is to determine what your today and tomorrow consists of. Also, How and why?

#Pride of #self is to be thrown away and not #eaten

Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.(Prov 16:18)

A diet consists of many different foods because we delight in certain things.  However, there are parts of us that we can afford to discard from our diet , which we tend to hold on to. This does not require much effort because we are generally content with who we are at present. However, a personality that involves pride and arrogance can become destructive to our mind, body and soul. We possess so great a power in the same we do our diet. Can we switch our internal natural diet for the spiritual? Are we willing to dispose of the very things that causes us to fall in defeat? Maybe it’s not us whom we are affected by. Can it be those people that are the utmost important to us that we are influenced by? I challenge you to self examine your degree of pride if any and determine if it’s beneficial to survival.

#Meat for your #mind and #peace for your #life…

Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed says the Lord who has compassion on you.    (Isaiah 54:10)

The love of the Lord is greater than the comprehension of our natural mind. It never disappoints and never hurts unless we allow the distractions of the day get in the way of it. Though the world around us at present is in shambles, our feet shall continue to be planted firmly and our hearts will be content. If there is a greater love, peace or joy in the atmosphere, I challenge you to weigh its longevity. The love of God is permanent and it’s based on our faith that solely rest and believe in him.

Listen to your #body, for the #body yearns for #food…

Now then, my children, listen to me, blessed are those who keep my ways. (Prov 8:32)

The idea of listening involves how and and what we are listening to. How many times do we hear and tune in to something that is beneficial to us. Especially, when there is great expectation and reward ahead. In the same regard, Christ wants and desires us to completely listen to him. There is nothing more rewarding than a child listening to a parent that promises something of appreciation just for listening. Think of how many ways we can incorporate this when Christ only asks us to listen to his voice. Usually our conscience gets the best of us and we make rash decisions based on natural instinct. I challenge you today to be attentive to the voice of the spiritual  Father versus the father our natural world. The outcome will be different.

#Eating your late day #meal for #mind over matter…

Do not work for food that spoils, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.     (John 6:27)

When we work, we work for compensation as wages being paid for labor. The hard work and effort put forth into what we count on as earnest work, pays off on numerous accounts. There is much to be said when we labor but if we work less, there is less compensation. If our schedule is part-time then our compensation is equivalent to our time and labor. If its full-time then there is more to gain. The real situation here is that you can do more with more and less with less. However, the vital point being made is, what are we really laboring for? Are we investing in temporal gains or permanent gains? Does it completely provide all the essential nutrients for the sake our soul which is vital in today’s society? Do we put forth the time and effort to work as hard as we do for the sake of the Kingdom as we do in our daily lives? There is an eternal blessing that is promised and awaits us. It has been sealed and delivered by Christ through the Father. It is to our advantage to grasp  and take every opportunity to labor for that which is eternal. The first step begins with discarding the spoiled food for the spiritually organic food. It is very vital and necessary so that we prosper in all things.

#Monday morning #refreshment to #restore #mind and #soul…

Repent, then and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord. (Acts 3:18)

It’s much more convenient and comfortable to continue in our own natural way of doing things. It’s even more challenging when the result does not turn out how we expect it to. It’s very easy to fall into temptation and the evils of this age. The determining factor relies solely on us and those around us. Repenting means to completely and totally subdue yourself to the ways of Chris. It’s the effort put forth into submitting all your natural ways to Christ. The reward is greater than the process and the end is better than the beginning. It’s as refreshing as water relieving you from thirst. The real refreshment solely comes from Christ. Once entered into a place of relief all else is progressive. The challenge here is us. Are we willing to admit our mistakes and wrongdoing? Are we willing to dictate what the wrong is? I encourage you to step away not step back. Consider the result always.

#God’s late night and #morning #nutrition

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: the old is gone, The old is gone and the new is here!(2 Cor 5:17)

Old and New cannot be combined. There is no commonality between the two. The old will be cancelled by the new. The two cannot intertwine. The new is more vibrant and radiant. The old is worn and torn. Over time it will fall apart. Our mission is to continue putting on the new that Christ has clothed us with. The challenge is to return the old garment of the mind and soul to its permanent place.

Morning and afternoon #food of choice for the # kingdom and #soul…

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will added to you. (Matt 6:33)

Today, our kingdom can be several things. It involves the participation and effort that we invest in with the expectation of a great outcome. Our internal kingdom tends to dictate the choices in which we make. They can be vital or have little to no significance at all. What we do in our daily lives represent our body, mind and soul. However, the kingdom of God is the most profitable investment one can make. It is a choice that has significant rewards that are unimaginable. So, I challenge you today to eliminate the kingdom in your mind. Instead, seek the everlasting kingdom that stands and will not fail in any situation. The true test relies on us.

Late #evening and after #midnight #delight…

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. (Matt 11:28)

When we are exhausted mentally, emotionally and physically we tend to go into default mode. It’s our natural ability to go in the way we are most comfortable with. At times it may be quite tiresome and affects those we are surrounded by each day. The world as we know may provide places of relaxation and comfort. It seems fitting for the moment and by all means it does provide relief. Let us not disregard the services provided that remove us from various levels of stress. They are very helpful. However, there is a dwelling place that we can tap into spiritually, mentally and emotionally. It’s completely in the hands of Christ. I challenge you to hand over the weight of your world to the one who created it.

Late #afternoon #snack…

I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.(Ps 37:25)

No matter what happens around us, you  are not affected once adopted into the kingdom as saints. However, there will be tests and trials. The assurance here is that, our needs will be met and supplied. Let us build our faith in this very thing that has been promised to those who believe. It remains the same as it ever was. Who and what has altered us to not live on this promise?
